Prof. Dr. Paresh Kumar Narayan
Paresh Kumar Narayan is an Alfred Deakin Professor at the Deakin Business School, Australia. In 2007, he was appointed as the youngest Chair (Professor) in Finance by Deakin University at the age of 30. He is the Director of the Centre for Economics & Financial Econometrics Research at Deakin University.
Professor Narayan is a co Editor-in-Chief of Economic Modelling, Associate Editor of Finance Research Letters and Studies in Economics & Finance, Subject Editor of Journal of International Financial Markets Institutions and Money and Guest Editor of the Journal of Banking & Finance and Energy Economics.
He has published more than 300 papers in renowned journals all over the world. Research Papers in Economics (RePEC) ranks him in the top-5 Young Economists in the World.
His main teaching interest is financial econometrics and research interests are financial econometrics, applied time series econometrics, applied finance energy and transport & financial markets. He is a member of American Economic Association, The Econometric Society, Royal Economic Society and Economic Society of Australia.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Seema Narayan
Seema Narayan completed her PhD from the Monash University, Australia in 2009. She is currently Associate Professor of Economics at the RMIT University, Australia.
Her research interests are Applied Macroeconomics, Financial Economics, Energy Economics, Feminist and Development Economics, Time series and Panel Econometric analysis. She has published more than 90 papers in reputed journals. Amongst these include Energy Economics, Journal of International Review of Economics and Finance, Journal of Banking and Finance, International Review of Financial Analysis and Journal of Behavioural Finance.
Assoc.Prof Narayan is ranked in the top 10 per cent of female economics authors in the world by Research Papers in Economics (RePEC).
